No Tricks, Just Treats
We’ve been busy the past few weeks putting the final touches on some major updates to Adminja for our AWESOME Beta team. They’ve been knocking our socks off with incredible feedback, suggestions and love, and today we’d like to respond with some well deserved upgrades.
If you are a member of our Beta group, THANK YOU! This afternoon we are releasing not one, not two, but THREE MAJOR updates to the system and we can’t wait for you to check them out.
Here’s the skinny and there’s no TLDR here, please make sure to read everything so you’re up to speed and ready to take your productivity to the next level.
Yes, you read that right. We are releasing an early version of Adminja’s time tracking. You can now log time against a task directly (Do this by clicking the “+” icon on a task card) or against a client in general (by clicking the timer icon in the upper right corner.) You can review time logged on a specific task by viewing it’s “Time”, or, if you want to see ALL time logged on a client, by going to their “Time”.
Clients & Client Profiles
We’ve gone and done it- You can now re-arrange clients to any order your lovely hearts desire. In addition, Clients and People support social media handles AND All Clients, people, and user avatars are being resized correctly. Woot!
You still with us? Can you handle any more? Because we’ve saved the best for last!
We heard you and we listened! Based on your feedback Task management has received a significant overhaul.
You will notice right away that right above “All Tasks”, you’ll now find “Today”. Now you can focus on what needs to be done today without having all those extra tasks staring at you in the face just waiting to distract you.
But wait… there’s more!
Adminja now supports Custom Task Panels!!!! WHAT??! You can now create as many panels as you need to organize your tasks and projects to fit your workflow. Make this tool work for you, not the other way around! Task panels work just like Profile panels. Just click “New Task Panel” to get started!
A few other updates to Task Management:
- The “Backlog” panel has been revamped and now serves as “New Tasks”. The first stop for all of your new tasks. You can move tasks from there into any of your custom task panels.
- Client “Today” panels can be hidden by toggling the today icon.
- Tasks and custom panels can easily be reorganized via drag and drop. Just grab a task by it’s colored tab, or a panel by it’s header, and move them wherever you’d like.
Hold on, there’s one more thing! We’ve made a small tweak to task imports: the email body is now displayed ON the task card instead of the in the task notes making them friendlier to use and a little less clumsy.
